Literary Arpilleras: Textiles as Place-Based, Creative Pedagogy

چکیده

This article is a reflection on the experience of using textile making, arpilleras, as creative practice to stimulate engagement with literature and lived environment in course Latin American literature. The discussion will illustrate how, by recognising body another place learning, this approach can help students engage at deeper more personal level ecological fiction relate their reading experience. Textile making place-based pedagogy recognises learning & engages fiction.
